Mehal Shah | CGMA, ACMA | Founder & Managing Director
As a Chartered Management Accountant since 2011, Mehal leads the HorizonFD team with a wealth of experience in Management Accounting. He honed his skills at two of UKs most renowned fashion retail and wholesale brands, where he developed and delivered crucial management board reports and financial frameworks.
Mehal has worked as a senior manager for UK's leading telecommunication providers in both the B2C and B2B sectors; delivering successful commercial strategies and trading plans that have helped these complex organizations increase profitability.
Mehal's expertise extends beyond the UK as a expert consultant leading the design and delivery of operational commercial frameworks for top tier telecommunications providers in Southeast Asia.
Mehal holds a BSc Honours degree in Management and Information Systems (Computer Science) from a leading University of London, and has worked at some of the world's most technologically innovative organizations. This has given him a clear focus on understanding the technological landscape and its impact on businesses in the UK and Asia.
Having worked for both small and large organizations, Mehal recognizes the essential role that SMEs play in the UK economy. As a result, he believes that all SMEs should have access to the strategic support mechanisms that are available to larger organizations.
In his free time, Mehal indulges his passion for travel, exploring nature trails and connecting with the natural environment through adventures with family and friends
